"These cookies are the pinnacle of perfection! If you want a big, fat, chewy cookie like the kind you see at bakeries and specialty shops, then these are the cookies for you!"

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1. 😃 Directions 

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
3. In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart.
4. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely

   Ingredients 

   
   

   Dough

   • 2 cups of orginal Bisquick mix
   • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
   • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
   • 6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes
   • 1/3 cup milk

   
   

   Filling

   • 4 oz creem cheese, softened
   • 1 egg yolk 
   • Grated peel of 1 orange
   • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 
   • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
   • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen (not thawed) cranberries

   
   

   Glaze

   • 1/2 cup powdered sugar 
   • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
   • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk or cream to dizzling consistency

   
   

   
   

   Steps 

   
   

   1. In large bowl, mix Bisquick mix, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and the salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender until the size of small peas. Add 1/3 cup milk; stir until soft dough forms. Gather dough together in a ball, and shape into a flat square. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate at least 30 minutes but no longer than 8 hours.
   2. Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
   3. Unwrap dough. Sprinkle work surface lightly with flour. Roll dough into 15x9-inch rectangle. Transfer to cookie sheet. With short end of rectangle facing you, gently score it lengthwise, dividing into 3 equal sections. With knife or pizza cutter, cut slanted strips 1 inch wide into both sides.
   4. In small bowl, beat all Filling ingredients except cranberries with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spread evenly onto center third of dough. Top with cranberries. Working with slanted strips one at a time, crisscross over filling to create a braided look.
   5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Cool.
   6. In small bowl, beat Glaze ingredients with whisk until smooth. Drizzle over braided Danish. Slice and serve.

INGREDIENTS

• 3 Small/Medium carrots chopped bite size
• 1/2 Medium size onion finely chopped
• 1 tbps Neutral oil (canola, grapeseed)
• 2 Medium size potatoes chopped bite size
• 3 cups Water
• 1/2 package Japanese Curry mix they come in boxes
• 1 Package of puff pastry dough




Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a pot over medium/high heat, add oil and onions. Cook for 2 minutes. Add potatoes and carrots, cook for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add water and bring to the boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Add the Japanese curry mix and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 4

On a sheet pan, cut puff pastry into squares (1 sheet should give you 4 squares) and with a spoon, fill the middle of 1/2 of the squares you have.

Step 5

Cover the top with the empty squares and seal the edges tightly (you can use a bit of water to moisten the edges and help them stick more easily). Cook for 20 minutes or until the crust is a golden brown and serve!
